Fishing for Steelhead is good…but…the water on most all rivers is very, very low therefore difficult for jet boats to cover all the pools. No problem for drift boats and rafts. COME OUT and enjoy sometime! (Read more)

Since my last report, we’ve seen the north current off Miami continue to be strong and then die off to little or no current. While we had to good north current, the fishing was very good to outstanding. When the current died, the action has been hard to come by and persistence has paid off with getting the fish to strike. Get out those rods and reels _ trout season is open in 18 counties in southeastern Pennsylvania.
For the second straight year, trout season opened early in the region to provide the same amount of quality fishing time that the rest of the state enjoys.
Waters tend to warm earlier in southeastern Pennsylvania, and trout are coldwater fish. The season, which opened Saturday, runs until Labor Day.
Trout season will start April 12 in the rest of the state.
About 2 million anglers fish in Pennsylvania, and about 1 million licenses are sold each year. Fishing has a more than $1.5 billion impact on the state’s economy. Read more
