AGENCY AWARDS FUNDING FOR PRIORITY WILDLIFE PROJECTS
The Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners today approved four projects that will study or help species of concern and manage globally-significant habitats in-state. Funded from an allocation provided by the State Wildlife Grants (SWG) Program, administered through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Federal Aid Program, the projects will cost a combined $265,000.

The Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners today gave preliminary approval to hunting and trapping seasons and bag limits for 2008-09.
The public may offer comments on all proposed 2008-09 seasons and bag limits, as well as other Board actions, between now and the Board’s next meeting, April 21-22, at which time the Board will finalize seasons and bag limits for 2008-09.
